Who am I?

My name is Ryan Gilbank, I have been married for 16years on 31^st of January 2014 and have 2 Sons(13 & 9), whom I love to this day.

Working in the service industry before I had finished school and stepping directly into sales and marketing after school. I completed a Sales Management Course in 1996. From there I became the State Sales & Marketing Manager for Fundraiser Promotions before moving with my wife to the Gold Coast to manage current and then establish new Mobile Phone stores.

In 2000 our first son, Michael, was born and we moved back to my hometown of Mackay and ran the Youth Department at C3 Church in Mackay before starting work with Precision Earthmoving Repairs and most recently, Downunder Minesite Maintenance.

Here I started looking after all aspects of Client and Employee Relations. This included all Marketing, Sponsorship, Business Development, Employee hiring, discipline and firing.

Due to the ongoing growth and expansion, I was promoted to the State and then National Manager role.

During this time I managed the development of New Business Areas, Contract Negotiations, the Planting of New Offices, the Employment and Management of Key Employees, and the strategic implementation of growth plans/strategies for 4 offices in 3 varied markets across Australia. I enjoyed Building great relationships with my clients Management and Field staff, many of which I remain connected to today.

When it comes to speaking, for over 20years now, I have been speaking to and with people about personal development. This has been done through many different forums. From one on one engagement, right through to addressing groups in excess of 400+people at a time.

I have spoken at conferences, community groups, businesses and one on one across Australia, with my ultimate goal of seeing each individual equipped to make that next step in achieving their best life and business.

My Father was the first distributor of the DISC Behavioural Profile to Australia back in the 80’s and my interest, in what is now the widest used tool of its kind in the world, has never been quenched.

I have sat with people in business, in their marriage and in general relationships and watched their eyes widen as they begin to understand themselves and those around them better. Everybody is predictably different and once we understand how, then we can all move forward more successfully.

In the past 20+years of my working life I have been able to experience great business and personal success, from the workshop floor through to the corporate offices, by simply implementing this tool and the associated information.
